Tartuffe...

"Tartuffe" by Moliere was adapted and directed by Sue MacCallum and presented on April 18 and 19, 2009. The light-hearted French comedy, set in the late 1600’s was performed in an intimate drawing room style. In keeping with our mission to educate andentertain, the Winding River Players theatre group took on the project of producing “Tartuffe” this past spring. A period play such as this is was a first for our group. The cast and production team explored an historic culture of formal social mannerisms, language and fashions of the 1600’s.
